They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, but what about when it pours and thunders all day, then breaks with shining sun, JUST in time for bride and groom portraits?! That sounds super lucky to me! But Laura and John are lucky regardless. I was so grateful to get to be their Colorado wedding photographer and capture some sweet moments for them. Aren’t they cute? They got married at the Double Tree, then we headed down to the Heritage Gardens downtown for their bride and groom portraits. It was just perfect with all the summer foliage and not to mention the glowy sun shining through the trees. Their reception was held at Phantom Canyon Brewery on the 3rd floor and it was just perfect. My Colorado wedding photographer heart was SO happy to be along for this ride! I’m sure you’ll also enjoy the photos below!
Colorado Adventure Wedding Photographer | Woodland Park Edgewood Inn Elopement
I love that I get to photograph weddings for out of state couples. It’s pretty neat that I get to live in a state that people fly into from all across the US for destination weddings. Anne & Dylan were one of them and came all the way from sunny California. They were the sweetest pair and just so bubbly and loving. They trusted me to capture their day even though we’d never met in person, and had only communicated via email. It couldn’t have worked out more perfectly. They got married at a cute bed and breakfast in Woodland Park, The Edgewood Inn and it was the best spot for their intimate wedding. To top it off, Anne wore her mom’s wedding dress and totally rocked it! They did it first look that was a little different than most- it went both ways. Dylan was of course excited to see Anne, but Anne was also excited to see Dylan because he kept ALL details about his suit and attire a secret. Anne’s reaction upon seeing him was pretty priceless. You’ll see below that these two are fun, totally in love, and the most genuine. Enjoy these sweet photos of Anne & Dylan!
