I’m so very fortunate that my couples trust flying me in from out of state to photograph their weddings! Ashley and Will live on and own their own vegetable farm in Sandy, Oregon and thought it would be the perfect place for them to get married and have a farm to table wedding. So I packed my bags, hopped on a plane and traveled to Hood Hills Farm where they got married in front of their greenhouse tomato “tunnel”. The wedding couldn’t have been more them. Laid back, simple, but not lacking in fun, OR good food. Almost everything they served, they grew on the farm and prepared themselves. Talk about a true farm to table wedding! It was a gorgeous day on their lush green property with all the friends, food and dogs you could ask for.
Pikes Peak Elopement Photographer | Catamount Reservoir Hiking Elopement
A Pikes Peak elopement like Rob & Rebecca’s is EXACTLY the type of wedding I’m always dying to shoot. They’re a couple that is always found adventuring in the mountains with their seven kids. Since hiking and the outdoors is such a big part of their lives, they wanted to incorporate that into their wedding day with a Pikes Peak elopement, by hiking up to Catamount Reservoir with their family and their able guests. I was lucky enough to tag along with them on this gorgeous hike up, and watch as they were married with the most beautiful Pikes Peak backdrop behind them. For them, a Pikes Peak elopement couldn’t have been more perfect, especially since this Catamount Reservoir hike was their very first date together. They even recreated their first selfie together on a rock that overlooks Green Mountain Falls. I hope you enjoy their elopement photos as much as I enjoyed hiking up with them! If you’re looking for a photographer that is ready to hike to a beautiful destination with you to capture some awesome memories, I’m definitely your girl! I’ve got my backpack and hiking boots ready for another Pikes Peak elopement!

As a Colorado mountain wedding photographer, 2018 has been another amazing year. So many wonderful clients. New adventures. A new vision for my photography. And most importantly, the BEST memories to last a lifetime.
Being a Colorado mountain wedding photographer has to be one of the best jobs ever. I get to work with amazing couples who value adventure, love, and the biggest smiles. Their smiles make me smile. And I hope you enjoy this post showcasing some of my favorite smiles from 2018. 2018 was surely a good one, but I’m so excited to see where 2019 takes me as a Colorado mountain wedding photographer. This year, I’ll be making an extra special focus on working with couples who share similar values as me, fueled off of adventure with an undying love for the outdoors. These are the couples that set my heart of fire and help me produce the most genuine, candid and vibrant images. ENJOY these amazing photos that I had the honor of taking!
Pikes Peak Mountain Elopement | Melissa & Luke
The smaller the better in my books. Melissa and Luke had a tiny Pikes Peak mountain elopement at the summit of Colorado Springs’ highest peak, and although little, it was not lacking in love. The love these two share is amazing and it’s so exciting when out of town couples come to this gorgeous state to get married. I had so much fun riding up the Pikes Peak highway riding shotgun with Melissa, her dad, and niece. I felt like I was part of their family by the time we reached the top! The whole way up, the skies were dark and there were sprinkles threatening a storm up up. But as soon as the ceremony started and Melissa walked down to Luke, the sun broke through the clouds and shined bright on the two of them as they said their vows together. It really couldn’t have been more perfect.
Intimate YMCA Overlook Chapel Wedding | Julie & Stephen
Tell me you value photography and I’ll love you forever. During our back and forth conversations before Julie booked their wedding with me, she mentioned that despite not having a large wedding budget, they valued photography and wanted to hire an amazing photographer to capture their intimate YMCA Overlook Chapel wedding. I may have blushed a little when she told me that. Photography on your wedding day is so important, and I LOVE that these two valued it so much.
