Most of the clients I book are via referrals from friends or from seeing my posts on social media. Misty had found me from an Instagram post of mine and was anxious to book a session. She and her family had recently moved here from California, and they were looking for some candid photos of them in their new mountain hometown. We went to Red Rocks Open Space and had a gorgeous golden glowy evening. They even brought their 15 year old dog Baxter along for some pictures. You know I always love when dogs come to sessions too! I’m so glad that Misty and I connected because they were so fun to take photos for. I’m excited for the next time they need photos and to get to photograph them again!
Colorado Springs Family Photographer | Blodgett Open Space Session
Around Christmas time, I always do a special “gift a session to someone else, and get one for yourself for free”. It’s a great way to encourage getting your picture taken, and really makes for the perfect gift. The Fulton family was on the receiving end of the gift giving! Whitney’s family was gifted this session from her brother and wife, who I had taken wedding photos for two years prior. It couldn’t have worked out more conveniently. I went to Scottsdale for a bachelorette party in April, and by coincidence, that’s where Kaja and Wyatt live, so I got to take their complimentary session for them then. And by even more coincidence, Whitney and her family are stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, so they were super close to me for their family session. We decided to meet at Blodgett Peak Open Space and it was so green and beautiful. Turns out they live 5 minutes down the street from here and had never even heard of this place. I love showing off our beautiful state of Colorado, and in the process, get to take some gorgeous photos of a sweet family.
Colorado Springs Family Photographer | Gold Camp Road Session
I am THE luckiest Colorado Springs family photographer. I got to photograph THE cutest and sweetest family. They showed up so coordinated looking like this, and didn’t even need any help choosing outfits. A+++ for the Young family! As I always say, I’m SO excited when my clients want a fun and adventurous shoot. These are the shoots that make this Colorado Springs adventure photographers heart happy! Being out in the wilderness, and capturing some candid moments for them is the best thing ever. I hope you enjoy this Gold Camp Road session of the most adorable family ever.
